Leading The Way

Support for organisations in Tendring

CVST is the leading infrastructure organisation for Tendring. We are a registered charity run by local people for local people for over 50 years, we support local communities by empowering individuals, groups and organisations.

Join us…

We believe that voluntary and community groups and organisations are stronger when they come together, and this makes the communities we support stronger too.

Our Networks…

By coming together we can share knowledge, experiences and work collaboratively to support our local communities. CVST runs a number of networking opportunities for local groups and organisations to come together.

Supporting local action…

We know that it’s not always plain sailing running a community group or a voluntary organisation – that’s why we are here to help.

Volunteers / Trustees – We are part of the Volunteer Essex network and can advertise and promote your volunteering opportunities. We are always on the lookout for people who are interested in becoming a Trustee for a local organisation and are happy to provide some introductions to organisations who are looking to bring people onto their Board.

Governance – If you have good governance in place then you never really have to worry about it. We can support you if you are setting up to have the right policies and procedures in place or can act as a critical friend to review your current processes.

Finance – Looking after your organisation or group’s finances can be a worry but we can help you to make sure that you have all the necessary things in place to make sure that you and your funders are satisfied that everything is as it should be. We can also help with simple end-of-year accounts.

Training – CVST provides courses and training to voluntary and community organisations and groups as well as sharing information about other free and low-cost training.

Take a look at what we currently have on offer here: Training and Courses – CVS Tendring and keep an eye on our social media for updates about upcoming courses and training events.

Communication – Our communications team are always happy to support you with sharing information about your services or events and can help you to get started with your own marketing.

For more information about this or any other support that you might need please contact us by calling the Infrastructure Team on 01255 425692 or emailing admin@cvstendring.org.uk.
