Community Voluntary Services Tendring have several rooms that are available to hire throughout Tendring.
Imperial House Community Hub – Clacton
The centre has a unique and pleasant reception area where your visitors will be welcomed by our friendly and helpful team.
Included in room bookings to all hirers is a warm and friendly reception service manned by a member of staff and trained volunteers (within office hours) and free advertising for your event! All rooms are fully accessible including disabled toilet facilities. You also have access to fully equipped kitchens for the making of tea, coffee and light snacks. Refreshments and catering can be provided at an additional cost. We think you’ll find our facilities really excellent value.

We have the following meeting rooms to cater for all requirements from a conference room for 60 people to an interview room for 2 people. Click here to view a room layout guide.
Refereshments:
Affiliated, 1/2 day £1.50 per head. Full day £3.00 per head
Statutory/Commercial, 1/2 day £2.00 per head. Full day £4.00 per head
Sam’s Hall
Sam’s Hall seats up to 80 people (depending on the layout). It is ideal for meetings, training, seminars and functions.
Facilities available:
- Modern kitchen, fully equipped and including serving area
- Comfortable seating
- Disabled access and toilet
- Facilities for internet connection / wifi
- Powerpoint
- Flipcharts etc
- The hall is equipped with a loop system
Prices:
- £11.50 per hour for affiliated organisations
- £18.50 per hour for statutory organisations
- £35.50 per hour for commercial organisations
Scott’s Garden Studio
Scott’s Garden Studio seats up to 30 people (depending on the layout). Visit our Garden Suite and take the opportunity to experience a relaxing environment to hold activities. It is practical for workshops, self-support groups, meditation, counselling and interviews. It has a small patio outside with garden furniture which is enjoyed by our groups in good weather.

- Privacy panels for small groups

Prices:
- £12.00 per hour for affiliated members
- £17.50 per hour for statutory organisations
- £34.00 per hour for commercial organisations
Catalyst Suite
The Catalyst Suite seats up to 16 people.
It offers 2 PC’s (available on request).
This room has all the facilities you need for workshops, self-support groups, meditation, counselling and interviews. computer and I.T. training for your staff and volunteers, including internet and wifi.
Other facilities include:

- £11.50 per hour for affiliated members
- £16.75 per hour for statutory organisations
- £32.50 per hour for commercial organisations
Kennedy Way Hub
The kennedy Way Community Hub seats up to 25 people.
It offers a venue set in the grounds of the Community Garden.
This room has all the facilities you need for your staff and volunteers.
Other facilities include:

Beach Huts
Treat your clients and members to a day out by the sea. Book a beach hut and take advantage of all our facilities.
Our two beach huts are situated near Martello Bay; they’re wheelchair-friendly and fully stocked with all you need for a great day out. Deckchairs, buckets, spades, crockery, cutlery, kettle, cooker, etc., are there for you.
Plus we now also have a beach hut in Hawich

Harwich
Dovercourt & Harwich Hub
We offer venue hire in our Dovercourt & Harwich Hub, 276 High Street, Dovercourt, Harwich, Essex, CO12 3PD
If you are interested in viewing the centre to hire for our group or activity please contact us on 01255 554115 or facilities@cvstendring.org.uk.
We are here to discuss your needs if you are looking to hire a central venue for your events. We offer one off bookings or block bookings, enabling flexibility in the use of the facilities.
Our aim is to empower the communities we are here to support and facilitate with this great new venue. This facility has been generously granted for the benefit of local community use.
Dovercourt & Harwich Hub
Harwich Main Hall seats up to 120 people (depending on the layout). It is ideal for meetings, training, seminars and functions.
Facilities available:

Jaywick
Community
Resource Centre
Come along to Jaywick Resource Centre, Brooklands Gardens, Jaywick where you can join in our popular activities such as the Friendship Café and Seated Dance. There is car park available on site.
St Christopher’s
Church Hall
Located on Meadow Way, Jaywick, St Christopher’s is the place for our Barn Dance and Seated Yoga activities. It is easily accessible by bus, and there is also a carpark alongside the church.
Walton-on-the-Naze
Columbine Centre
Walton’s Friendship Cafe is held at the Columbine Centre located on Princes Esplanade, Walton.
The Columbine Leisure Centre, Princes Esplanade, holds regular events. Within the centre is the Indoor Bowls Club, which has open sessions for the public. At the northern end of the Bathhouse Meadow is the Skateboard Park, suitable for beginners to advanced skaters (FREE).
YMCA Red Triangle Club
Come along to Barn Dancing and Seated Yoga at the YMCA on Portobello Road, Walton-on-the-Naze.
