The Cultural Awareness Project

The Cultural Awareness Project
vision for Tendring

Overcoming disadvantage in all its forms is our fundamental goal.

Racism, discrimination and prejudice of any kind will not be accepted and we must build the confidence to address it and evenyually build understanding.

As citizens we have the responsibility to contribute to the wellbeing and good health of ourselves and others.

All citizens have a duty to show respect to each other regardless of race, culture, belief or faith.

We must build bridges across Tendring to strengthen community bonds and ensure tolerance, better health and support for every individual and every community.

Meeting diverse needs

The CVST Diversity team have set up the The Cultural Awareness Project to meet the needs of the diverse identities which make up our community, The Cultural Awareness Project covers all nationalities, cultures, religions, LGBTQIA+ and other marginalised groups. We will be reviewing existing services to ensure better inclusion and engagement with members of these diverse communities. We hope to promote cultural awareness and improve mental and physical health, as well as providing support, information and advice for all ages.

The survey below will give the Diversity team an chance to identify the gaps in services to help improve your experience of health services. Any input is gratefully received.
