Free Advice And Guidance On Business Start-up

FREE advice and support to become self-employed or start your own business is being offered by an Essex enterprise agency.

Colbea is providing the opportunity to gain a good understanding of how to become self-employed or to start your own business.

The online course is aimed at those who never had their own business before but have a great idea for a business they’d like to start.

Training from Colbea will offer a basic understanding of the key things to know and do to help start out.

The course will cover topics including how to make sure your idea could work, who would buy your product or service, choosing the best route such as sole trader or partnership etc, what is a business plan, business and start-up loans, and where to work.

Colbea’s support can also help participants to build confidence, build self-esteem with inclusive well-being support, gain new skills, and build employability skills.

Colbea is running the course as part of the Seeds4Growth project, which is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.

Seeds4Growth is led by Abberton Rural Training (ART) and delivered in partnership with Paragon Skills, Colbea, Colne Radio and Community Voluntary Services Tendring.

The project, managed by Essex County Council and the partnership, has secured just over £500k with the aim of working with local employers and engaging with Tendring Residents to offer them opportunities to explore employment, self-employment and training within the rural and care sectors.

Tendring District residents can call the dedicated phone line to find out more and book their course 01255 615914.
