Free Introduction To Adult Care Training

A FREE three-week course is offering an introduction to working in adult care with the chance of a real interview at the end.

Paragon Skills is running the course as part of the Seeds4Growth project, which is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.

Seeds4Growth is led by Abberton Rural Training (ART) and delivered in partnership with Paragon Skills, Colbea, Colne Radio and Community Voluntary Services Tendring.

The project, managed by Essex County Council and the partnership, has secured just over £500k with the aim of working with local employers and engaging with Tendring Residents to offer them opportunities to explore employment, self-employment and training within the rural and care sectors.

Paragon Skills’ Introduction to Care offers the chance to gain an understanding of working in the care sector with access to work-based training, one to one support, and to meet like-minded people.

The online course also boasts benefits such as building confidence, gaining new skills, building self-esteem and understanding the behaviours required for care.

Tendring District residents can call the dedicated phone line to find out more and book their course 01255 615914.
