Who can become a member

 

CVST offer three levels of membership to local organisations: Full, Associate and Friend of CVST. Full criteria and benefits are described within the application guidelines. You can download the guidelines and application form from the bottom of this page.

By becoming affiliated to CVST local voluntary and community groups can benefit from the following services:

  • Weekly E-Bulletin packed with local and national news of voluntary sector gossip, events, government legislation, training opportunities, and fundraising information.
  • Weekly Job and Volunteer E-Bulletin advertise your opportunities here
  • Advice and information – just ask! All questions regarding a charitable organisation welcome.
  • Volunteers – We can help you find volunteers or committee members (insert link)
  • Hall Hire – meeting room, hall, IT Suite and counselling room at a reduced rate.
  • Reserve a Beach Hut for a donation.
  • Grants and Funding – Access to grants, sources of funding and funding advice and guidance.
  • Opportunity to take part in the Annual Victorian Christmas Market,  Annual Conference, Community Exhibitions and Events, Network Breakfasts, Cultural events – Windrush, Eid. Social Prescribing – our team can refer to your service, Resiliance – summer and winter resiliance partnership events.
  • Comprehensive training programme
  • Developing partnerships with statutory agencies – we can help groups to work with the Tendring Together Partnership, the District Council, Suffolk and North East Essex Integration Care Board (SNEE ICB), SNEE Voluntary, Community and Faith Social Enterprise Assembly, North East Essex Alliance, Tendring Neighbourhood Teams, Community Asset Mapping, Local Estates Forum, Mental Health Committee, Domain Partnerships, Colchester Catalyst, Tendring District Council, Health and Wellbeing Board, and Community Safety Partnership, Essex Police Independent advisory Group (IAG), Essex County Council Strengthening Communities, Rural Development, Essex CVS.
