Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) is hosting Get Festive with Street Tag at the Dovercourt and Harwich Hub on Saturday 7th December, 10am – 12pm.
With free refreshments, physical activities and Christmas crafts all residents are invited to the free, joyous celebration.
Then a special and free Strictly Street Tag evening will be turning the hub into a dance floor, teaching residents how to ballroom and Latin dance.
Strictly Street Tag will be held on Wednesday 11th December at 7.30pm – 8.30pm.
Residents will be able to enjoy 30 minutes of Ballroom and 30 minutes of Latin dance lessons from the Swan School of Dance.
Game Organiser, Becky Dowling, said: “Street Tag is a brilliant way to have fun while getting active.
“As the Strictly TV show is edging towards the big final, we are excited to offer people the chance to learn some Ballroom and Latin dancing.
“Dancing is such a fun way to exercise and I can’t wait for this event.
“We also want to encourage everyone to get Festive with Street Tag, which is a great opportunity for families and residents to join in the Street Tag fun with a Christmas themed event.
“Come along for Christmas Crafts, physical activity games and earn some Street Tag points along the way.
“There are also lucky dip winners each week with a £10 Amazon gift card on offer.
“So, get involved, get moving, and be in for a chance to win.”
Street Tag, which is running in the Walton area and in Harwich and Dovercourt, turns parks and streets into a giant virtual playground.
Players earn points by collecting virtual tags – making physical activity into a fun game by converting walking, running, and cycling into Street Tag points (tags).
