Step back in time to shop this Christmas

IT’S Clacton’s biggest charity Christmas market this month.

Community Voluntary Services Tendring (CVST) will be hosting its annual Victorian Christmas Market on Saturday 15th November.

From 9.30 to 3pm there will be stalls filled with crafts, toys, jewellery, gifts and more.

Residents will also be able to meet Father Christmas at the market at the Princes Theatre, as well as Queen Victoria and her entourage.

There will also be entertainment, with a mix of choirs, theatre groups and dance classes.

Lisa Andrews, chief officer at CVST, said: “Every year our charity Victorian offers residents a chance to get their Christmas shopping started at the same time as supporting charities and community organisations in the district.

“It’s a great way for these brilliant causes across Tendring to fundraise through selling items and at the same time to let people know more about themselves.

“It’s a brilliant event with refreshments and entertainment as well as a hall filled with stalls.

“Come along and see for yourself.”
