Youth Volunteers

CVS Tendring runs the local Volunteer Centre for the district which acts as a hub to bring together young people who would like to volunteer and engage with our community doing a wide range of activities such as helping the elderly, environmental improvements, gardening, and local events.

If you want to find out about volunteering in your local community visit the Volunteer Essex website to register or for more information.

Applications are available for 16-18yr old’s and up to 21yrs with additional needs, you can apply regardless of wherever you live or work in the Tendring district from Alresford to Harwich or Thorpe to Wrabness, we have volunteering opportunities for all and we work hard to bring volunteers and the people that need them together.

Every year in Tendring, hundreds of people decide to volunteer and here are some of the many good reasons to join them.

You can:

• Improve your job prospects
• Learn a variety of new skills
• Gain self confidence
• Use your talents and experience
